Upcoming NVCCLL special events NVCC Family,
As the playoffs for our competitive baseball and softball divisions heat up we wanted to make you aware of a few other special activities we have planned to close out our 2022 spring season so mark your calendars!
Friday night June 24th at Liberty field 6pm with our first charity homerun derby! Where some of your favorite coaches will be competing for charity and the title of Homerun champion. At 7:30pm will be our fifth annual coaches softball game! A portion of all proceeds from that night will be donated to the Ultimate Sacrifice Foundation. Come out to watch the seniors try to show the kids they do not just teach while the kids root and jeer them on, all in fun and for a worthy cause.
Saturday June 25th at Liberty field. The day will start at 12pm with an International All Star game where the top players from that division will be split into two teams to play. We have been doing the game for a few years now and it makes for a really fun time. The kids get to play with different friends while getting a taste of the level or play they will see when they play in the regional tournament. At 3pm we will be hosting a on field trophy ceremony for the softball divisions plus the rookies and t-ball baseball groups. Historically these teams do not have a playoff series so trophies were done after their last game without any fanfare and we want to change that.
Saturday July 2nd is NVCCLL night at the New York Boulders!!! Visit this link to purchase tickets for the 6:30 game against the Ottawa Titans in our section right behind the dugout. The kids will get to watch the game with their friends and coaches plus get a free hat and a share of the proceeds go to help the league. That night is also WWE night at Boulders stadium so do not forget to check out the post-game brawl. This is the first year we have partnered with the Boulders organization and hope to do more with them in 2023 and beyond.
Watch your email in the coming days for more details about these events along with information on our summer sandlot series and fall ball program. Spring of 2022 has been an incredible season at the NVCCLL. From the return of opening day, all the great ball games, and most of all the players as they made new memories. To relive some of those memories you can check out our Opening day highlights video posted here. We hope you all join us for these special events where we can pretty much guarantee they will make a few more.
Let’s play ball!
